The goal of the Alzheimer’s Clinical Trials Consortium (ACTC) is to provide an optimal infrastructure, utilizing centralized resources and shared expertise, to accelerate the development of effective interventions for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. The biostatistics team makes use of R for much of its computing. As an open-source software, users are able to develop packages for the environment to aid in computations. The team has contributed the following packages to CRAN, the Comprehensive R Archive Network, where users can submit their developments to be made available to others.
