LEADS<\/p>\n

The Longitudinal Early-onset AD Study (LEADS) is funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to address several major gaps in Alzheimer\u2019s disease and related dementias research. LEADS is an observational study following cognitively impaired participants and cognitively normal participants. The primary goal of LEADS is to develop sensitive clinical and biomarker measures for future clinical and research use.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Alzheimer’s Association U.S. Study to Protect Brain Health Through Lifestyle Intervention to Reduce Risk (U.S. POINTER) is a two-year clinical trial to evaluate whether lifestyle interventions \u2014 a combination of diet, exercise, heart health, and cognitive challenge and social engagement \u2014 that simultaneously target many risk factors protect cognitive function in older adults who are at increased risk for cognitive decline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
