The ATRI Biostatistics Section is an internationally recognized biostatistics research group specializing in the design, conduct and analysis of multi-center randomized clinical trials, natural history studies, participant registries and translational research in neurology with a focus on Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders (ADRD).

IMPACT-AD is an Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) training program that aims to educate and promote diversity among research professionals and future principal investigators in the field of ADRD research. The course emphasizes diversity of trainees, interactive learning, a cooperative culture among alumni and long-term metrics of success. In addition to lectures given by national leaders in ADRD trials, attendees have the opportunity to work closely with the field’s top investigators in small group workshops.
IMPACT-AD is co-directed by ATRI Biostatistics Director Dr. Rema Raman and UC Irvine MIND Director Dr. Joshua Grill.
